It’s been a while since I’ve posted something. This was a box I built a while back that is a hard Maple box with Paduak corners. The stain glass top worked out pretty well, but I did realize that to give the glass more stability the sides should have been thicker. As it is right now the box is a bit more fragile than I would have liked. Increasing the sides thickness to something more like a 1/2 inch would have been better.
My wife liked the box so much though she wanted to keep this one for herself, so I guess it was a succes on that front. Thanks for looking.

I like how the glass puts a shimmer to the wood inside. Very nice!
