I greatly appreciate all the kind words. Construction is all mortise and tenon joinery. I always wanted to do something with a floating shelve and top like I’ve seen here so many times. finished with GF arm a seal gloss, rubbed with steel wool, waxed for a satin sheen and smooth feel.
There’s more to come and I’m glad to be a part of the LJ group.
Steve, the waterfall pic is from a hike in south western MA.

Nice combination of (brown) walnut and (red) cherry, and a little Green and Green added for a nice effect

I agree with every thing said. I really like the design, but your work looks perfect too. I would also like to see more pics. Just noticed the end table in the 2nd pic…looks good. Post that too!
