I built this so i can use my ipad in my shop. It seems simple but it was awkward to build.
i wanted to be able to fold it flat when not in use. All the joints are half lapped and i used
3/32 stainless steel rod for the hinges. It’s made of Cherry and finished with water based poly.
A fun project to build but i really had to think about what i was doing!

That’s awesome. And I can tell its a bit of a thinker. Had to flip the first 2 pics back and a forth a handful of times to see how it all worked.

Nicely done. Great job on the brass rod hinging on such a lightweight mechanism!

Hey that’s cool rich. This is something we all can use. I’m going to put it on my near future list.
