Another of Duck’s Boxes

I have been working on this box for quite a while. I had some very nice figured Tiger Maple and most of the pieces were fairly short, so I made a 7” jewelry box out of it. I inlaid some Wormy Bubinga into the Maple for a little contrast. I finished it off with 8 coats of Guitar Lacquer.
I hope you enjoy .

Another Great Box!!!
Cool Duckster, looks like you are on a roll. I like the nicely figured woods but your carving really sets off the grain.

That maple is a showstopper! This box almost looks edible, like a cake.

Thanks again for the compliments. I like to think that I feel the Wood when I’m working with it. Sometimes a softer touch than mama gets
