First attempt at turning Norfolk Island Pine. Had to pause for a couple days before I finished turning, so it developed several cracks which I had to fill with epoxy.

Super pattern in that bowl.
It turned out well even with the cracking issues.
Beautiful piece. How did you finish it? Any stain or is that the natural tone of the pine?

The grain in the bottom really makes this a beautiful bowl. Excellent job !!! Mel

Looks like it cracked just right, nice bowl shape, and awesome wood.

Pretty cool sample of wood you found….and also very nice bowl design. Wood patern makes it awesome.

It’s been a while, but I believe I just used tung oil.
