Been getting into kumiko lately, it’s a lot of work on little pieces but addictive.
This is a mini version of a shoji screen or door that I’ve designed to show a bonsai plant.

Frame is Cherry with Pine grids and the infill pieces are cherry and purpleheart with BLO finish.
Lots of handtool work.

Thanks for looking!

I do not have a Bonsai, but I have lots of plants to use for scale purposes.

Really fine work, it’s clear to see this takes patience and a sence for detail.
Best thoughts,

Here’s a pic of the two together before I shipped them off. Best I could come up with my plants.
