When the grand kids come to visit they don’t have a place to set their drinks on when they sit on our couch. After searching for some ideas I came across this simple idea.

This simple design was to use construction grade 2×2 pine for legs and common 1 by’s pine for the top. Finished with cherry stain and some poly. Assembled by using Kreg screw system.

Overall size is 10” x 10” top x 27.5” tall. To fit under the couch you may need to modify to suit your couch. If interested making one like this, just let me know. I will share with you my process.

Grand-kids, drinks and couch never go good together. Even with a Sofa Side Table.
Nice build and good luck.

Love the idea. My wife grabs this stool every time she wants to bring a cup of tea to sit in front of the fire … I’m absolutely stealing your idea for a gift for the misses! Nicely done, and thanks for the inspiration haha
