A coworker sent me a link to a plastic footrest and asked if I could make a wooden version for another coworker for under her desk.

This is what I came up with.
Made from plywood and Poplar.

First time making my own star knobs.

Stands 10.5” tall, foot platform is 12” by 9”.

Everyone was happy with the final product.

Does the foot “platform” move or pivot (ie can it be used to encourage leg movement) or is it adjustable but then “fixed” in place? The reason I ask is because I had DVT in my calf so concerns with prolonged sitting remain. When we travel I have a small pedal unit that fits in front of the seat (sort of!).

It adjustable, but then fixed. The coworker using it is on the short side, so it is for better posture

Thanks for the clarification. Looks nice and I’m sure will be appreviated in the workplace.
