Good to be making saw dust in new shop. Pop’s came up from Florida for a short trip. Great 4 days in the shop building something together. We decided on a live edge cedar bench to compliment the 2 Cedar Adirondack chairs I built a few moths ago. Just under 2 inches thick 5 feet long. A lot of fun. Finished with Penofins Penertating redwood oil. Love that it has UV blocker and easy to reapply.
Here’s a link https://www.penofin.com/wood-stains/redwood-wood-stain I bought it not advertising for them.
As always all comments welcome and Thx for looking ya’ll
Ken

Awesome bench Ken. Some honking big slabs of cedar right there.

Looks like a very welcoming place to sit and relax. Thanks for the tip on the Penofins penetrating oil. I’ll have to check in on it.
