Afternoon LJ’s, more then a few months back fellow Lumber Jock Dutchy asked if I would tackle a prototype plan he was working on. And knowing the quality of work he does I must say I was honored in the request. I should have posted this a few weeks ago, but time gets away from us sometimes with holidays, work and what not. I am very pleased with how the Forklift turned out. The materials used are Poplar and Walnut. The lift mechanism works and the steering wheel will actually turn the rear wheels; very cool. As always all comments are welcome

I love everything about it. Very pleasing to the eye and for the builder very rewarding to the soul!

Beautiful. Like your wood selection. I stain walnut and/or cherry prior to finish coat. To me it makes it a little brighter.

That look great S’h’T’M’... You do realise you are now ”obliged to do a step-by-step build blog… and you thought you didn’t have time to post this instalment…

Things must be looking good in Dutchman’s land though… first a new shed, now outsourcing his builds… next he’ll jump into his private jet to come and clip me behind the ears!

Cute little fork lift. I like your choice of timber. Well done to you and also Dutchy for the plans.

Thanks fellow! This has been a lot of work and especially from prototype drawings. You did it! Americ first, the Netherlands second?

Indeed maybe I have to buy my own jet after my private airplane pilot has stopped
