In addition to my woodworking business, I worked part time for 23 years at San Diego’s ROCKLER Woodworking and Hardware (formerly The Woodworker’s Store). I still shop there, teach some Saturday morning classes and occasionally make merchandise displays to feature their products of the month. This display was to promote their January product of the month, a mechanical pencil. It was made from walnut and finished with General Finishes Semi Gloss Enduro-Var. The large replica pencil displayed on the top was made by current longtime ROCKLER employee and talented wood turner, Brian Clairmont.

Great looking display, looks like the pencil on top is the icing on the cake.
