Simple Maple Bowl

I had a block of straight grained maple and after turning the bowl it just looked too plain. So I added a little pyrography to give it some interest. Approximately 9” x 2 1/2”. Used matte lacquer spray.

Simple Maple Bowl—I guess I don’t understand the word ” simple ”. That would be harder than you know what for me. Excellent job !!! Mel

Really like the shape of the bowl. I didn’t know about the “pyrography” until now thanks.

Such a nice way to make a plain bowl into a work or art.

Reminds me of an intricate tattoo.
