Finished the second Christmas gift earlier this week and the stand yesterday. Purple heart wood on a rocking pizza cutter blade bought from Woodcraft by my youngest step-son; a friend cut the middle of the blade to allow for it to hang on the stand. The stand is made from scrap Walnut that wouldn’t have seen any other project because of the knot but I felt would work for this. The supports are fairly tightly mortised all the way through the back and glued to help hold them in place. My buddy got to rib me a bit as I don’t ever use screws for my projects but chose to do so in order to attach the back to the base.

Very nice work and more importantly a pizza cutter that will not drag the cheese and other ingredients all over during cutting. I usually use a knife to cut pizza this way, but your cutter is even better!
