music box

Not really a from scratch project, but a good bit of fun just the same.

Lee Valley sells music box kits. Essentially a wooden model you snap out and put together. I bought one for my little buddy to assemble for his sister with the intention of having it under the tree for her at Christmas. We got the order into Lee Valley a tad late and it did not arrive in time. The little princess was quite ill yesterday so while she was at the ER with her mom, her big brother and I put together a little belated Christmas/get well gift for her.

It was a fun hour or two with my little buddy and his sister was over the moon excited for her ballerina.
