DIY Wooden Tool Box

Every so often my son asks me to give him a simple project to work on. So we both agreed to make a DIY Wooden Tool Box so that he could store and organize his future tools. Currently, he doesn’t have many tools, but as he grows up he’ll be able to help with more complicated projects.

I precut the pieces from my scrap wood pile and had him put it together and paint it. While they are young and eager to learn, it’s our chance to teach them those skills. This project doesn’t take long, so then they want to build more later on. It’s a win-win! Check out some of my other projects at TheDIYPlan.
