I have been doing some woodwork again.
Have not been around for a long time and don’t recognize many of you guys anymore…will have to change that in 2020.
This first fish is a gold fish, probably three years in the making, off an on again.
The plan comes from the Intarsia book in the photo. Cut out on my bandsaw and then hand shaped with files and sandpaper. Fun stuff and I made a shadow box style frame for it to finish it off.

Welcome back the tkns...

All the old guys are still as gristly and some a tad more grizzly. Give us new kids-on-the-block to make you reconsider your return, but in the meantime, put up with the malice-free banter that may be thrown your way.

Great job but how do you land a fish without an Intarsia rod…. not another 3 years, please.

.... don’t recognize many of you guys anymore…..

You been drinking more than me? I look the same as I wanted to, 30 years ago…. though many other vanity members have changed their avitar to fossiised wood.

I have been wanting to try Intarsia for quite a while. After seeing projects like this, I think I will step off the deep end and and give it a try. Excellent job !!! Mel

Cheers Mel!
Get the book, it walks you through how to do it and has some good starter plans in it.
