Matching keepsake boxes for my best friend and her daughter. African padauk, birdseye maple veneer, walnut veneer, and soft maple (trays, splines and lid lifts). Brusso JB 102 hinges. Finished size 12” x 7.5” x 4.75”.

Speechless here, but my Wife was saying 3D effect, and Ohhhhhhhhh. Just spectacular, that BE is off the charts, and I am a sucker for a box with an interior, and yours didn’t miss a thing.

Beautiful boxes and that birdseye is amazing.
The monogram initials with their names in the design are great.
They will treasure them.

Very nice job on these thoughtful gifts!
I just ran across a small scrap of birdseye in the shop yesterday and was wondering what I would do with it… Book-matched box top!!! Thanks for clearing that up!
