I made some serving trays for Christmas gifts this year based on the Woodsmith Oct, 88 plans. I made 2 of each so niece and nephew will get one of each. Frames are lightly stained slow growth pine and the bottoms are veneered Birds-eye maple and something dark and quilted ???. The label faded and I have no clue what it is, but it does look good. Also each tray has epoxy poured in the bottom.

Wow! What a way to show off that wood. Thanks Uncle Dave. How soon will they be arriving here? ;-)
