A little Box made for my Favorite Wife as she was going through some old paper work and thought it was time to pass some of it on to our Daughter and wanted some thing nicer than a shoe box.
Made from some rehabbed mahogany that was kicking around the shop, finished with light Shellac and wax.

Handsome box. Looks indestructible.

Wow Andre, that one is a keeper for sure. Beautifully done my friend!

Great Andre! I like how you included a lifting tab in the lid.

Nice box Andre. That is a box your daughter can pass along to a girl of her own some day.

Nice box Andre! Nice tight box joints also! You go me thinking now! My wife has a few shoe boxes filled with stuff so I guess it’s time I do what you did.
Thanks for sharing!

Great work! The lock set is a nice touch (and a challenge to install 8^)

Thanks for all the positive comments, this box was quite a personnel challenge and many things changed during its build, and depends on what you call Cold? For us rather mild so far but Ma has started to complain about the rain out there:)
