Finished up a nice cribbage board consisting of maple, walnut, quartersawn white oak, and wenge on the top. The bottom half consists of solid bubinga and the whole thing is wrapped with a cherry border.
This thing is a beast. It is 1.5 inches thick and weighs a ton because of the heavy woods.
I cut one end and routed out a spot to put your cards and pegs for safe travel.
Then I did some CNC carving on the bottom for a requested Mario theme.
Project is finished with seal coat shellac and General Finished poly acrylic satin.

Super cool. At first glance at 1 1/2’’ I was going to say you could flip it over and use it for a cutting board but we don’t want to mess with Mario. Well done.
