This is my first post. I’ve been lurking for years but finally have decided to try to post something.
The cherry used in this project is some that I cut and had milled from my own woodlot in 2014. Dowels secure the guitar hanger so it’s quite sturdy. It has a simple urethane finish on it.

I am reaching that age where I forget more than I remember…lol I saw this the other day and meant to comment then promptly forgot. That’s a really cool project made out of a awesome piece of cherry…well done and way to kick down the door with your first posted project.
