Local woodturning club ornament swap

So one of the local clubs does an ornament swap at the Christmas party. For me, I didn’t want to do the typical tree hanger…so I went with a snow globe. If you hit the light just right, you’ll see glitter in it that makes it looks like it is snowing. It’s maple burl painted with a white mica resin mixture. I then epoxied in the figures and cast the piece with more Alumilite. The base is bloodwood. Sanded to about 6000 grit then a bunch of time on the buffing wheels.
