Coasters and Holders

Thought I would take some of my scrap shop wood and do something with it. I made a form out of some 1/2” plywood where I could make up to eight coasters at a time. I cut some dark walnut and made the holder and put a piece of walnut in each coaster, all different.
I finished the holder with lacquer.
Enjoy

Hey you old Texas fisherman…..I haven’t heard anything out of you in a coon’s age…..Glad to see you’re still kickin’. Me, I’ve been laid up with a hip replacement, and 2 back surgries, plus a shoulder replacement ( My casting arm, naturally). So I’ve been out of pocket the last 3 years or so….No woodworking, no fishing,....nothing..just healing up time….So I’m glad to see you’re still active in all that, and the projects you post are really nice….The coasters have a nice touch to them…..Very nice…..And yep….I’m still running a Ranger boat…when I can…..:)(..

They, ummm, look like nice sugary candy with a chocolate center!

Either way, very yummy!

Thanks for the cuddos. I’m making several different styles.
Rick, I made one with each one having a jig head and a treble hook in them. Made them for my son. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been down so long. I know some of your rehab pain. I had my left shoulder replaced. Sure beats the pain with the new one. Hope you can get back to your hobbies. Merry Christmas to you buddy.
