Finished up a batch of pizza peels for Christmas gifts. The light colored ones on the left were made from neighbor’s popular logs destined for the fireplace. Handles are Douglas fir (first and second from L) reclaimed from and old 2 1/2” thick desk top, and the next five have oak handles milled from a large branch from the back yard. The one on the R is Douglas fir a Walnut handle.

Last year for Christmas I made two pizza peels…..One for my daughter-in-law, and one for my wife….Never tried my hand at making them, so got the size my d-i-l wanted and went from there…..!! They were happy with them, but to me they look like cutting boards w/ handles…..:)(>..
