Hey all,
Just finished a jewelry box. The box is Cherry with Wenge legs and inlay Koa and Curly Koa. I wanted to do something other than dovetails or box joints, so I thought mortise and tenon would show well. The box is overall 15” x 10” and about 3 1/2” tall. The box also has moveable trays over a velvet liner in the bottom.
Thanks for checking out the Cherry and Koa Jewelry Box.

Nice box. I like the finished interior too.

Loose that purple cloth for a backdrop, can’t see much of the darker woods off of it.

Sweet bookmatch on the top. Im guessing the top is rather heavy since you used double piano hinges? Like the tongue and groove joinery also. Is that maple you used for the trays?
