Walnut & Maple Jewelry Box

Another Christmas present, this one for my sister-in-law. It’s the same design as a previous box, but with the walnut and maple reversed. Finished with 5 coats of wipe-on poly.

Continuing the striped theme that started way back when with some salt & pepper shakers.

Really nice job. Like the play of colors, and always like a filled box. That candystripped tray is awesome.

Wow.. I have two boxes on my workbench that look almost identical on the outside (right down to the spline placement) except mine are waiting on a finish. With that being said, that’s where the resemblance ends…mine are nowhere that cool on the inside. Fantastic job!!! Wanna come finish mine??? Lol

A beautiful box then there’s the inside – a tray that defies imagination yet it’s right there in view. GREAT engineering and execution and congrats on a well deserved DT3
