Curly Maple Picture Frame

This is a curly maple frame that I made for a print of Jackie Robinson that I got from a guy named Tim Carroll, who makes cool artwork of cut up baseball cards. I finished it with satin Minwax, spray on Poly.

How did you do the B? What kind of joinery did you use, looks pretty tight.

Nice display piece! The maple adds elegance without overpowering the art. Perfect for an entire set of similar BB cards!

Thanks for the comments! This is one of the few times I cheated and used the Kreg jig in place of mortise and tenons for the joinery. For the B, I used Black Diamonds powered pigment (cobalt blue) to dye some epoxy and fill in the B.
