This whole turning hobby has gotten kinda of addictive. Those silly bowls are reproducing faster than a pair of horny rabbits. It finally got to the point that I needed some way to better display them so I made a matching pair of display stair stands. Simple birch plywood pieces recycled from a kind local cabinet shop with 45 degree miters the whole way around and finished off with lacquer spray finish.

Great idea. Will look very professional at craft fairs and such.

Maybe I need to do something similar.

Thanks Brian! That’s the idea. Tomorrow I’ll post the idea that I had for displaying the myriad of Christmas ornaments that have collected over the last year.
Thanks again. Mike

Wow, Mike, that’s a really beautiful way to display those bowls!

I really like that top bowl with the accent rings.

Thanks Lew! That’s a Cherry bowl. I lightly score a groove, then use an old bicycle cable to burn the groove as an accent.

Very attractive….....both the bowls and the stand.

Thanks Ivan. I actually made a pair of them with the second being a mirror image of the first. It was just one of those weird things that came to my mind in the middle of the night.
