As an addition to the cornhole boards that I’ve build earlier, this DIY Cornhole Scoreboard is a perfect match. It doesn’t require much material or time to make. It’s always nice to keep a score on a board when playing a game. Also find the free plans at TheDIYPlan.

Great idea. This will compliment the game nicely. I like it.

When I play cornhole I am usually drinking. If I have to bend down that far to move the peg from hole zero to hole #1, I will fall over.
Sorry, not user friendly….....fail.

Ingenious!

On the contrary, I do agree with ohwoodeye to an extent. However, one must still lean down to pick up the beanbags that are not on the board, wich would result in the same thing. Overall, I think it is a great idea!

Great idea – I have some ideas for modifications… If you raise it up and make the scores run horizontally, those too lazy or drunk to bend over wont have that excuse – although the extra effort is probably most needed by those that resist bending… You can still have it collapsible for storing the thing – maybe between the target boards when they’re clasped together? Yeah, it’s coming together, the base cross-members come apart and a length of PVC or dowel to provide elevation – fitted into a sized hole, like where you have your drinks in the first pic. then attach a receiver on the back of the scoreboard for the other end of the pipe, or maybe just some holes’slots in the pipe and some hooks on the back of the board…

I’ll need to draw this up and build it, I know of two homes for these off the top of my head.

Have your say...
