With all of the VERY nice -shop mallet pictures here; I am just going to post the ones that I actually use!
All out of fireweood or scrap box materials, except the dowel handles on the little 2.

They all do get used.

I’d just be worried that once you are smacking something, what ever you are smacking would act like a Froe, and just split them along grain lines. Maybe not, time will tell. Looks like a mixture of wood species, any idea what you have there?

Very nice Ralbuck. There were a lot of gorgeous mallets from the swap but, I’d be willing to bet your’s all work the same way and just as good ;-)
