This project started as a laptop table for my wife, but i never got to finish it. I didn’t like the wood legs i made for it, and it was laying around my shop for over a year. finally i decided to order a metal base from a metalworker, and I’m very happy with the results. your comments are welcome.
cheers

Very nicely done!
Please share your wood choices as the color contrast really sets it off.

Very very nice that.
Great.
Seems you have good access to exotic type wood species.

Very smart looking table. The metal base provides nice contrast.

Thank you all for your feedbacks
the main woods here are obviously Purple heart and Maple. the others are some random scraps i had in the shop, some of them are from from african origin i believe and i’m not even sure what type.
