Got tired of digging through drawers for my DVDs. Had a board or 2 of Ash…door is a glue up, then made a raised panel with hand planes.

Finish is Gunstock stain ( Minwax), then a few coats of Amber Shellac. Handle is solid copper. There is a build-along Blog for how this was assembled.

Cabinet is now sitting beside my computer desk, so all I need to do is reach over, select a movie for viewing on the computer, with the headphones ( vol. is set at..12…)
