Project Information

A customer who saw my work on etsy.com, ordered this large Gothic Tracery panel. (39" x 55")
All I had to go by was a photo she sent of a piece she saw in an antique store. All the parts are made and I will be doing a pre-assembly and then disassemble to do the finishing. I will post some more pictures when completed. It took 2 weeks to build this after coming up with a final design. It is made from air dried White Pine on a paint grade plywood back board.

That is Beautiful! Great work, it does makes me wonder though, what does one do with a large Gothic Tracery panel?
Will it be part of an accent on an interior wall?

This is being built as a gift for the customers mother.
She has a large house in an upscale subdivision outside Houston,TX.
It will be mounted in an alcove about 10 feet off the floor.

Dan,

That's really beautiful! I agree that you can't improve on many ancient designs. Is that all hand carved? You must have a ton of time into it!
