Took wife to lumber store and she saw this hickory laying in what looked like the burn pile and talked me into taking it home. After lots of epoxy and sandpaper we have a coffee table.

Man, your wife talked you INTO taking it home?
You are blessed.
You two did a great job on that table and I agree with Ivan, beautiful, both the joinery and the wood.
Thanks for sharing.

Very attractive. Hickory goes so nicely with the darker wood (black walnut?)

Man-o-man – that is not only beautiful but inspiring. I have 15 or so 2” x 8” x 10’ long hickory planks, now I know what and how to deal wth them

Thanks for sharing and buy your wife something.

Wow, very attractive. How you designed the legs to be attach to the top is especially appealing.
Well done!

Now, I like that a lot. Original type design, different species, simple but great.
Very Nice
