My son gave me the wood from a very old broken down workbench he tore apart. It was in really bad shape. I cut off a chunk and made this shoe to use on my jointer. I made the oak handle and attached it using 3 oak dowels up through the bottom and then some wood glue. It looks like an antique. Lol. Well, except for my brand. Hahahaha.

I’ll bet it’s comfortable in the hand. I made one several years ago and it’s still producing albeit it’s a little worse for wear though. My handle I made in the shape of a saw handle. I never thought of a Plane Tote. Nice Job! And the trade mark looks good on it too.

I ll bet it s comfortable in the hand. I made one several years ago and it s still producing albeit it s a little worse for wear though. My handle I made in the shape of a saw handle. I never thought of a Plane Tote. Nice Job! And the trade mark looks good on it too.

Are you Dale Welch that went to Waverly High school?
