A bracket clock made with walnut, very simple and easy. You can see most of the parts and door were made first.

Bases were just rectangles with a decorative edge routered on them with cove bits.
Assembly was straightforward.
I used minwax dark walnut to blend in some lighter sapwood and walnut takes stain beautifully.

I used plexiglass for the door and mortised in brass hinges.
I installed a quartz chiming movement that plays your choice of Westminster or Whittington chimes.

I made the back (not shown) with a book matched sawn walnut panel.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful work! I love walnut also. Just finished sawing over 300 bd ft of walnut from one of our trees. Put the last of it on drying racks today.
