My son has been begging me for an airplane for some time now. He loves airplanes. “We” used 1/4” baltic birch plywood, and a chunk of old shovel handle to make the plane, along with some other misc. wood parts from the hobby store (wheels, dowels, etc). I say “we” because he did a lot of watching and talking, and I did most of the building. But we had a good time, and he sure likes it. I made the propeller from Hickory, in hopes that it won’t break too soon. Nearly the whole thing is put together using CA glue with that spray on activator (Fastcap 2P-10), which is perfect when you’ve got an impatient helper :-)

Looks like your son loves it and is ready to take lessons. FLYMAN SIMON, really cool touch.

You built a great plane and some even better memories….
