This was my first attempt at a dining table for our home. I was originally going to attach the apron with pocket screws so it could be moved more easily in the future. After posting a question on here, i was convinced to go ahead and use M&T joinery along with increasing the size of the aprons to make the whole thing sturdier. Im very pleased with the final product.

Sanded top to 320 grit, 4 coats of Arm-R-Seal (sanding with 1000 grit between coats).

Very nice! What are the dimensions?

- seturner

40” wide X 84” long. I am very pleased with how sturdy it is considering the length. Originally planned to make the apron pieces smaller, but glad i was convinced on here to increase the size and go with M&T.

Have your say...
