This woodburning (pyrography) is just a phase I’ve been going through. I’ll be getting back to my power tools, clamps and glue now. The first picture of the little girl I copied from a vintage photo I found online. The second is a friends pet she asked me to do.

Do you apply a finish over the piece once its complete?

thanks guys for the positive comments. I used 1/2 inch birch plywood for these. The least grain patterns the better. 8×11. A couple of light coats of spray can satin lacquer.
