As a child we played Marbles . Yes a game with two sizes of marbles, the smaller and a larger that was
called the shooter. You would use the shooter to knock your opponents smaller marble beyond a drawn
circle. You would take his marble . The prize marbles back then was a cat eye marble . None here
I must have lost them all .
This piece of wet Madrone turned, bleached and micro wave dried took me back to my childhood
Thanks for the look
C and C always welcome

That is very cool and realistic as well.
I ‘lost my marbles’ many times playing as a child. It was a recess favorite.

Cool marble sack, Ron! I like the texture. Do you get that from drying?

Yes all the texture happens in the microwave . You have to use caution when drying . Just had a couple split
Having some fun .
Thanks Jim

Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories of our youth. We liked agate marbles with greater mass than the glass ones – better as shooters and harder to knock out of the circle.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.
Have your say...
