My son in law asked me to make a cutting board and matching bowl,I have made my share of cutting boards but never a matching bowl. Actually this is the first bowl I ever made.

Wow!

Can we see the picture when the bowl is on the board? It should be mesmerizing!

This is amazing. Do you have a picture of what the blocks looked like before you turned or planed them. Just trying to understand how you start something like this. Glue all the blocks together I guess?

This is the first time I’ve ever seen matching cutting board and bowl. Is the bowl glued up end grain?

Both are very nice. I agree the bowl is mind blowing.

Process explanation on the making of the bowl would get a lot of reads.

This is beyond words – outstanding !!
Ok – the bar has been raised to a level that takes the burn pile out of the equasion.
This almost makes me want to learn how to turn – the operative word being ALMOST

Outstanding job. The bowl is amazing as others have mentioned. Do you glue upthe pieces on a angle and re cut to get that effect?
