Hey Lumberjocks
This 8” chef’s knife is high carbon steel, not stainless steel like most knives. It will sharpen easier and stay sharp longer, just takes some extra care. The high carbon steel is from France and the knife was made by Hoch Tools from Ft Bragg Ca. I modified the full tang to a hidden tang. I added brass bolster and two different hardwoods; Walnut and Myrtle wood. I tried to add shape in to the handle with a fuller feel on the top of the handle and a little more knuckle clearance on the bottom off the handle. My attempt to make the knife ergo perfect for the user. This is for Zane and Lisa.
Thanks for checking out the Walnut and Myrtle 8” Chef’s knife.

Wonderful knife, and I know about that metal. Ron makes good stuff, but Linda is the true Master/Mistress of that Universe. Both are awesome people.

Pprobably a typo, but HOCK Tools in case someone wants to run a blank down.
