Why why why does it turn the pics sideways?!
Anyway, I used cherry and walnut to make this. I chamfered the bottom edges slightly to create a shadow line. I also put a bevel on the inside and outside edges of the lid frame. I made a removable sliding tray inside.

Beautiful woods, sleek design, especially fond the subtle chamfer detail on the top.

Go into “preview mode” before posting. If they are turned, you can use “Paint” to turn them easily enough so they won’t be neck benders.

Nice box.

Beautifully contrasting wood for this box and great build. I like the sliding trays and all the bevels.

That is a really great box. I would love to see it in a few years when the Cherry ages more. It’s going to be awesome.
