This coin box is made out of quilted bubinga hardwood with chestnut burl veneer. The inside top and bottom has quilted bubinga burl veneer, the banding and Splined dovetail joints are made out of solid black ebony.
I made this box for a book that I wrote ” Wooden Boxes”, I keep my coin collection in this box. This box was one of the most enjoyable projects to make. Thank you for looking, and happy woodworking!

Dennis,
What a beautiful way to store and display your coins. Every detail is perfect.

Beautiful box. I collected junk silver and eagles since the early seventies. retired in 2014 and sold buckets of silver coins and paid for a home in the woods of Wisconsin with the proceeds.
