Hello All,
I found an old rusty peavey in the woods. The handle was rotted away. Judging by the logging history of that parcel of land, it probably dated back to the days of two-man crosscut saws. I cleaned it up, turned a new handle out of ash on my lathe, and made a short video.

You don’t see those in Nebraska. Years back, there was not much to log.

As the old saying goes: One man’s trash is another man’s zombie slaying weapon. LOL

Great job restoring that old logging tool. Thanks for posting.

I had no idea a “peavey” was until today. Nice project.
