Garden Water Wheel (U-Build Plan 891) made from 7/8 X 10 #3 Cedar & 2 X 4 Cedar. The finish is PPG Cetol SRD (Sikkens for readers outside of the US) Project was a little challenging the only modification that I made to the plan was to half lap the 2 X 4 structure at the base of the water box for a cleaner look. The plan has it attached to the outside of the uprights. I used #20 Biscuits at the wheel 60° joints and for the box plus quite a few Miller dowells. I will add some more photo’s in the comments later.

Not everyone has a water wheel. Do you plan to water using it? Source from gutter runoff?

Look like you did a bang up job on it.

Test run today, will probably power it with a lawn tractor battery.

Recirculating the water using a 12V 360 GPH Rule bilge pump. I plan to power that with a lawn tractor battery. It only draws 2 Amps so that should power it for quite a while before I need to recharge it.
