I’ve been saving my golf course pencils thinking one day I might display them somehow. Well, it finally happened. I made this golf course pencil display plaque for my pencils. It is made of Red Oak and all parts are glued into place. I applied a coat of Minwax Oak stain and finished it off with a couple of coats of Minwax Lacquer. I also recently got a Eleksmaker laser printer and put the golf ball with crossed tee’s on the front just to give it a little something extra. I intended to make this into a wall hanger but finally decided to make it a desk display and made two supports to keep it up right. The project measures 12” x 12”.

That is really cool!
I don’t believe I have ever seen anything like it.
Well done sir.

Great idea! My course has touch screen GPS monitors so no need for pencils:) and at the winter course the caddy keeps score!

I agree with “fivecodys”. Well done BUT I too have never seen anything like this. just goes to show ya that people will collect anything. I didn’t think Golf Courses still logo’d their pencils anymore. Wonder if there is a market for something like this?

Anyway, “artsyfartsy” really nice work. You definitely have skills Sir!

Hi Robcastle, Here’s the deal, Golfers like fisherman like to brag about what they have accomplished. Fisherman likes to brag about the one that got away and golfers like to brag about the courses they play at. Those are just some of the places I’ve played at. But, I seen a collection that was probably 10 time bigger than mine.

As far as the laser engraver, it cost me about $200 for the whole outfit. It took me a while to upload the program into my computer. It’s quite easy to run once you get everything figured out. Of course, there are some laser engravers that cost a lot more than what mine cost.

Thanks for looking. Artsy.
