Getting ready for the holidays!

The ‘globes’ on these ornaments are all sea urchins (purchased on e-Bay) ... the finials and icicles are from various woods … ebony, pink ivory, cherry, and maple.

The stands are based on a design by Ashley Harwood ( https://youtu.be/Vx4NQMwqROE ). They are white ash, died black, and finished with wipe-on poly.

Those are spectacular! I like the bases but the ornaments and finials/icicles are great.
They would be great year round, not only for the holidays.

I just made some too using the sputnik urchin shells. My first attempt at finials, and it was frustrating at times. I never thought about making individual stands for them. Very nice work!
