Wanted to turn some unused space under the CNC into some suitable storage space. I just have to clean up the wiring and fasten it down. Construction is BB plywood with rabbet/dado joints. Finish is shellac (so minimal sanding required) then several coats of semi-gloss HP topcoat from General Finishes. Thanks for looking

Great idea. I may have to borrow that one. I just picked up an almost identical setup for steal at a garage sale and was trying to figure out how to manage the space underneath. It never occurred to me to make a cabinet. Duh.

EDIT: I have to ask…did you use the CNC to make the cabinet? :-)

Lazyman, I did not make the cabinet with the CNC. I used the traditional table saw with standard blade and dado blade/sacrificial fence, etc.

Moke, Thanks.

A note I forgot …. the cabinet is square. When I slid it into the stand … stand is not square. Turns out those square carriage bolt holes have too much slop. I loosened them all and clamp the stand legs to the cabinet, then retightened them all. Worked great.

I love drawers and storage in my workshop.
Well done.

OH this is definitely on my to do list. I have the same kind of set up for my Garageworx CNC and my space is definitely under utilized. Excellent execution and a great final piece. Thanks for sharing.
