I’m not a big fan of flip top tables. Not sure why, but needed a solution for my planer and benchtop jointer. Took inspiration from AmericaWoodworker: Power Tool Friendly Bench on “the youtubes” and came up with this. The bottom runs on straight non swivel casters and is only guided by the drawer slides. I put removal dowels through the legs and the front swing arms to lock it into place. Both tools end up at a good working height.

Very clever. I like it.

A clever contraption to give you access to both joiner and planer. Nice work.
